The problem: The Nitro 4-Tec is a discontinued 1/10 nitro touring car, and its stock cast-aluminum engine mount (part 4860, see the [Nitro 4-Tec parts list]) is now listed as discontinued and out of stock almost everywhere ([distributor listing]). Owners with a cracked or missing mount have no way to keep their car running.
Why it matters: There's a large base of vintage 4-Tec owners keeping these cars alive, and a mount is a classic part that's impossible to buy but easy to make once the interface is measured.
Goal: A drop-in compatible engine mount that bolts to the stock chassis and engine with stock hardware, matching hole spacing, engine centerline height and gear mesh.

- STEP model and drawing
- Fit-check print (PETG), then a CNC-machined 6061 aluminum version
- Notes on fit for the original Nitro 4-Tec vs. 4-Tec 2.0 conversions if they differ
