Glider Final AA119 | AA119N, final, glider | MJF material but if that results in the design much smaller than its original size than PLA is fine | After creating first glider, I realized the importance of making the glider light. To implement this strategy, I redesigned my wings and fuselage to make them as lightweight and long as possible. I plan to use paper/seran wrap to cover them. |

The Fly-High Sky-High | Stanford University Aerospace Introsem project aerospace structures glider Prototype AA119, AA119N | PLA | My goal was to make a non-motorized glider that would be able to take advantage of aerodynamic forces so that it could fly high in the sky. The plane consists of 3 sets of wings and a curved fuselage in order to optimize pressure uplift due to airflow. |
